Jack Receives a well earned Promotion-in-the-Field

A well known and much loved Bucks Companion received the surprise of his life at the Buckinghamshire Stewards Chapter convocation on 6th December.

E. Comp. Jack Surridge, who is well known for being a trusted Janitor and Tyler to many Chapters and Lodges in the south of the Province, received a promotion in the field from the hands of the M.E. Grand Superintendent. Jack is now a very proud holder of the office of Past Provincial Grand Assistant Director of Ceremonies.

Dr. Richard Neale said “Jack is a well respected and well known Bucks Mason. This appointment is well deserved and I am very happy to have been able to present it to Jack in this way.” he continued ” Jack is a great supporter of the Royal Arch and does his best to ensure that Craft Masons get the message that they should give serious thought to taking their next step in Pure Antient Masonry before it is too late.”

The photograph shows Jack being congratulated by the M.E. Grand Superintendent, Richard Neale on receiving his appointment, whilst the Principals of the Bucks Stewards’  Chapter look on.
