Assistant Metropolitan Grand Superintendent E Comp Ian Currans

At Buckinghamshire First Principals Chapter Installation Meeting, which was held on Friday the 8th of January at the Slough Masonic Centre, the companions were treated to a new presentation by a team from Metropolitan Grand Chapter led by the Assistant Metropolitan Grand Superintendent E Comp Ian Currans, entitled “The Royal Arch in Camera – Your Chapter in Focus” this new presentation follows on from Metropolitans’ “Talking Heads” a successful lecture on joining the Royal Arch for Craft Lodges which Provincial Grand Chapter of Buckinghamshire have adopted and are useing with great success.

The new lecture is designed to be delivered at a Chapter Meeting to improve the knowledge of the companions of the Royal Arch ceremony; who the Principal Officers represent and what the correct protocols are etc. The concept is of three presenters interacting, a bit of drama, a few jokes to kept every one awake and the volume of knowledge put across, made sure all in attendance, made their daily advancement in Masonic knowledge. The team from Metropolitan Grand Chapter were thanked and all the companions showed their appreciation. This lecture “The Royal Arch in Camera – Your Chapter Focus” may well be adopted by the Province for use in our Chapters, watch this space.
