A Fond Farewell to a Distinguished Chapter

An Extraordinary Meeting of Provincial Grand Chapter is to be held at the Slough Masonic Centre, on Wednesday the 2nd of May 2018, formally to close the Burnham Chapter No 5568.

At the ceremony of closure The Grand Superintendent will address the Companions, emphasising that the ceremony is primarily, to do honour to the Founders of the Chapter, to celebrate the history of the Chapter and the achievements of its members throughout its long and distinguished history, the address will be followed by a service of thanksgiving in which  the symbols of harmony used at the consecration of the Chapter and have seen it flourish over many years are to be returned from Burnham Chapter to the Province so that they may be again dispersed when Royal Arch Masonry has need of them.

The closure of the Burnham Chapter will be a sad loss to the Province of Buckinghamshire, we wish the companions of Burnham Chapter all the best for the future and their continued enjoyment of the Royal Arch.
