On the 7th of November 2018, Hampden Chapter No 6483, held a regular convocation, at the Masonic Hall, Aylesbury. The Chapter has proved over the past few years very popular with new candidates for exaltation, at this meeting Brother Phillip Andrew Drye of Vale Lodge  No 6632,  who was initiated  in 1981, was exalted into the Hampden Chapter in a well worked ceremony led by MEZ Brian Smith.

Comp Philip Drye was initiated in to Hitcham St Mary Lodge No 6419 in Slough in 1981; he left the Lodge in 1987 due to living abroad, work and family commitments at the time. Philip has now returned to Freemasonry after visiting a Craft stand at the Bucks County Show where he was  encouraged him after 30 years absence to rejoin Freemasonry. Philip is now progressing through the Offices of Vale Lodge; he is really enjoining his Freemasonry and very pleased to have been exalted in to Hampden Chapter.

The general atmosphere of the convocation throughout was of friendship and enjoyment, Peter Adshead was very good as Principal Sojourner.  John Money enthusiasm and administration admirable. This is a very good Chapter well set for the future.
