It was a full house at the Berkshire Masonic Centre, Sindlesham for the Annual Convocation of the Royal Arch Province of Buckinghamshire, held on Monday the 25th of March.
Our Grand Superintendent, John Keeble, had much pleasure in welcoming the distinguished guests from many other Provinces and other orders of Freemasonry within the Province.
At the Convocation E Companion Paul Reginald Savage, retired as Deputy Grand Superintendent , with the M.E. Grand Superintendent’s grateful thanks for a job very well done.
The M.E. Grand Superintendent was pleased to appoint and invest E. Comp Graham Peter Dearing of Ferdinand de Rothschild Chapter No. 2420, as the Deputy Grand Superintendent, due reward after serving with destitution as our Provincial Grand Scribe N and as Assistant Grand Master for the Craft Province. The appointment was well received by the companions present.
The Grand Superintendent proceeded to invest his Acting Officers, First Appointments and Promotions, he then congratulated them on their preferment, ”your honours have rightly been earned by your commitment to your individual Chapters and of course to this Province. THIS IS YOUR DAY – Enjoy it, you have earned it”.
The Grand Superintendent announce during his address “you will all be aware that we no longer have a Blue Provincial directory – I can tell you that we in Royal Arch now have one dedicated to our Chapters – this is online and follows the format of the old directory – Scribes E will be notified of how to access this password protected resource and be encouraged to make available to their members”. He thanked E Comp Roger Perry for his work on compiling the Directory.
A superb Festive Board followed, good companionship, a wonderful Masonic occasion and a celebration of the good work and enjoyment of the Royal Arch through out the year.
