At a regular convocation of Herschel Chapter held on Thursday the 7th of November at the Slough Masonic Center. The Chapter had the privilege of hosting an inter-provincial visit between the Province of Wiltshire and Buckinghamshire.   The M.E. Grand Superintendent of Wiltshire, John Reid and his executive officers and acting offers of the year were welcome to the Province by our M.E. Grand Superintendent John Keeble and his Provincial Team.

The convocation was very well attended with over sixty companions present including thirty-one active Officers from both Provinces.

At this convocation Herschel Chapter exalted Bro. Simon Phillip Oliver of Observatory Lodge No. 6094 into Herschel Chapter and the Royal Arch. The exaltation ceremony led by first principal of the Chapter Colin Cox, was of the highest standard and congratulations go to all who took part in the ceremony. Both Provinces thank their hosts Herschel Chapter and their hard-working Scribe E Stephen Knight for all the arrangements.

The festive-board was most enjoyable, good food, good speeches, very good company!

A truly warm and memorable Masonic occasion enhancing friendships between provinces.

MEGS of Wiltshire, John Reid
