BUCKINGHAMSHIRE FESTIVAL 2021
In Aid of The Masonic Charitable Foundation (MCF)
|Dear Brethren and Companions
As soon as the COVID pandemic started to affect our lives and livelihood, the fantastic work of the MCF highlighted the positive effects that Masonry can have on the world. The work carried out within our Province of Buckinghamshire, and at a national level, has been remarkable and we should all be proud to call ourselves Freemasons.
Whilst the BMBF can help Buckinghamshire Masons with immediate support, when there is a requirement for a more long term approach then the MCF is called to action.
We were very proud to be the first Province in the country to be chosen to launch a Festival in October 2016 for the then newly formed MCF.
We are now coming to the last ten months of the Festival 2021 and now is the time to roll up our charitable sleeves for The Final Push. The Craft and Royal Arch are working together to ensure that the Festival finishes with a bang and not a whimper.
Brethren and Companions, we should all support the MCF as none of us know when we or our family members may require assistance. Now is the time for Lodges and Chapters who have built up relief chests and charity accounts ready to donate to the Festival to have that discussion with their members. All donations need to be transferred by July of this year, so we have just six months to make that difference.
Six months to make a difference
Six months for a final push
Six months for us to be able to support and say thank you to the MCF and help them continue the work which is carried out in the name of Freemasonry and on behalf of us all.
Sincerely and fraternally
