Bowen Happy Birthday 156 years !

On Thursday the 4th of November Bowen Chapter held their Installation meeting at the Beaconsfield Masonic Centre. The meeting was well attended along with an Official visit from a party of seven Provincial Officers.

Bowen Chapter was the first Royal Arch Chapter to meet in Buckinghamshire with the first meeting of the Chapter being held on the 9th of November 1965 at the Elephant and Castle Hotel in Linslade, Buckinghamshire. This first meeting was 12 years before the formation of the joint Royal Arch Province of Berkshire and Buckinghamshire in 1877.

At their 4th of November Installation meeting John Sims was inducted as MEZ by Michael Wallace in a well worked ceremony, John Sims then inducted Denver Lynn in to the chair of Haggai and Denver Lynn installed Andrew Purdie as Joshua. The installation work done by Denver was outstanding a joy to be present.

After the meeting the companions celebrated at a happy festive board, good food, good wine great Royal Arch companionship!  Here's to the next 156 years!
