Buckinghamshire Chapter No 591 our oldest and much respected Chapter, founded in 1870 at the George Hotel in Aylesbury, 21 years before the Royal Arch Province of Buckinghamshire was formed.
On Monday the 20th March Buckingham Chapter held an emergency meeting at the Masonic Hall, Aylesbury, the meeting was very well attend, our Most Excellent Grand Superintendent Graham Dearing who is a member of the Chapter was Present along with our popular Second Provincial Grand Principal Phillip Blacklaw and our happy Third Provincial Grand Principal Joseph Le Roi-Smith.
The meeting was very special as the Chapter carried out in a very well work ceremony a Triple Exaltation! It has been a number of years since the last time a Chapter in the Province carried out a triple exaltation.
Brothers and Masonic Brothers Michael Shaw, Mark Shaw and Worshipful Brother Andrew Dancer all members of Buckingham Lodge No 591 were exalted into Buckingham Chapter.
The ceremony was to the highest standard a joy to be present and congratulations to Buckingham Chapter's Director of Ceremony, E. Comp Michael Power in organising the ceremony and all those companions who took part.
After the ceremony via the bar, the companions dined together good food, good wine, good speeches and good company, fantastic Companionship. A truly memorable Masonic Occasion!
Buckingham Chapter's next meeting is to be held on the Thursday 8th of June where the Prince Michael of Kent Demonstration Team will present "The Royal Arch in 1750" book early not to be disappointed.
