MEGS and Hall Barn visit Neleus Chapter a Good Meeting!
On Saturday the 18th of March Neleus Chapter held their 324th Regular and Installation Meeting at the Beaconsfield Masonic Centre. The meeting was very well attended with a visit from our "Beloved" Most Excellent Grand Superintendent Graham Dearing accompanied by E comp Phillip Blacklaw, ProvGH and members of Hall Barn Chapter escorting the Provinces Traveling Altar of Companionship to Neleus Chapter.
MEZ, E Comp Jon Callaly welcome our Most Excellent Grand Superintendent and visitors to the Chapter, after the minutes of the previous meeting of the Chapter were approved, members of Hall Barn Chapter escorting the Traveling Altar of Companionship entered and with a short interesting ceremony delivered the Altar to Neleus MEZ for safe keeping and for its onward travel to Hampden Chapter meeting at Aylesbury on Wednesday 5th April, the Traveling Altar of Companionship has encouraged visiting and enhanced meetings throughout the Province since its inception in January 2017.
The high light of the meeting was the joining of 2 new members, E Comp Bobby Uppal and E Comp Terence Cavell both members of Neleus Lodge, were very much warmly welcome by the companions of Neleus Chapter..
During the meeting E Comp Jon Callaly was inducted as MEZ, E Comp Scott Claxton as H and E Comp Chester Eyre as J, in a warmhearted and enjoyable ceremony.
The meeting finished on a high with Scribe E reporting for our next meeting in June we have a Joining Member and 2 Candidates for Exaltation.
After the meeting the Companions dined together on master chef Gary's, Stilton and Celery Soup, Whitebait, Steak Kidney Pudding with all the trimmings, followed by Bread and Butter Pudding, good food, good wine, happy toasts, above ALL Good Companionship!
