Hampden Receive Our DepGSupt and the Traveling Altar!
On Wednesday the 5th of April, Hampden Chapter held a Regular Meeting at Aylesbury Masonic Centre. The meeting was very well attended with an Official visit from our Deputy Grand Superintendent E Comp Phillip Blacklaw also in attendance was our Most Excellent Grand Superintendent Graham Dearing who is an Honorary member of Hampden Chapter, along with members of Neleus Chapter escorting the Provinces Traveling Altar of Companionship to Hampden Chapter.
MEZ, E Comp Peter Adshed welcome Deputy Grand Superintendent and visitors to the Chapter, after the minutes of the previous meeting of the Chapter were approved, members of Neleus Chapter escorting the Traveling Altar of Companionship entered and with a short interesting ceremony delivered the Altar to Hampden's MEZ, for safe keeping and for its onward travel to Pegasus Chapter on Wednesday 24th May, the Traveling Altar of Companionship has encouraged visiting and enhanced meetings throughout the Province since its inception in January 2017.
The meeting witnessed a rehearsal of the exaltation ceremony, with some very good delivery of ritual especially by MEZ Peter Adshed and Principal Sojourner E Comp Terry Meek.
A Supreme Grand Chapter Certificate was presented to Companion Richard Peck by our Most Excellent Grand Superintendent in his inimitable and enlightening delivery, emphasising the link between the Royal Arch and the Craft.
After the meeting the Companions dined together, good wine, good food, happy toasts, above ALL Good Companionship!
