Buckingham Chapter Welcome George and 3 Joining Members!

MEGS Graham Dearing, Comp George Harris, H, E Comp Mel Shah.

On Thursday the 9th of December, Buckingham Chapter held their Installation meeting at the Aylesbury Masonic Hall. The meeting was well attended along with an Official visit from our Most Excellent Grand Superintendent, (MEGS) Graham Peter Dearing.

Before proceeding with the Installation, Buckingham Chapter had the pleasure of welcoming 3 joining members and Exalting Bro. George Harris a member of Buckingham Lodge No. 591 into the Chapter.

The Exaltation ceremony was led by E Comp Mel Shah, was carried out to a very high standard, Mel was at his best, along with Principal Sojourner Paul Bird and with our MEGS reporting on the discovery made by the sojourners all very enjoyable and much appreciated by all present especially Companion George Harris.

It was good to see the Installation of E Comp Stephen Gill as MEZ, after all the hard work he had put into Buckingham Chapter as Scribe E and recruiting Sargent over many years. E Comp Mel Shah was installed as Haggai and E Comp Malcolm Wearn as Joshua.

After the meeting via the bar, the companions dined together on delicious Christmas food, well done Aylesbury catering team! Good food, good wine, enjoyable speeches above all good companionship, a memorable masonic occasion!

Buckingham Chapter will at their next regular meeting to be held on Thursday 8th June 2023, will be hosting the Prince Michael of Kent Chapter Demonstration Team, who will present "The Royal Arch in 1750" a meeting not to be missed!

Buckingham Chapter has a long and distinguished  history, it is good to see it is well set for the future.
